Day 1 AIZAWL
Welcome on arrival at Aizawl Airport, Mizoram’s
Capital city. Evening 2 hour shopping
tour at Luangmual Handicraft Centre. Overnight
Day 2 AIZAWL
Have breakfast and start a tour of Aizawl
visiting Durtlang Hills, Museum to see the glimpses of Mizo culture and Mini Zoological
Garden. Drive to Falklawn Mizo Village (18 km) and later to Bung, a popular
picnic spot. Overnight in Aizawl.
Day 3 AIZAWL – TAMDIL LAKE - AIZAWL
Morning drive to Tamdil (Tam Lake; 85 km). En
route enjoy the wonderful landscape. Take activities like boat ride (at additional
expenses). Return to Aizawl. Go shopping in Bara Bazaar. Overnight in Aizawl.
Day 4 AIZAWL – REIEK MOUNTAIN - AIZAWL
Morning drive to Reiek Mountain (35 km / 1 hr)
amidst luxuriant forests and caves. Take a soft trek upto the tip of the mountain
as you cross beautiful waterfalls and Anthuruin flower cultivation on the
hillside. The annual Anthuruin festival
hosted here during September. The Reiek village lies atthe base of the
mountain and you will take a village walk. Later return to Aizawl. Overnight in
Day 5 AIZAWL – HMUIFANG
Morning drive to Hmuifang (50 km), famous for
its scenic mountain peak (1619 mts). The mountain is till date covered with virgin
forests reserved since the days of Sailo chiefs. You may witness some species
of orchids. Overnight in Tourist Lodge.
Day 6 HMUIFANG - AIZAWL
Morning free at leisure. Later drive to Aizawl.
Overnight in Aizawl.
Day 7 DEPARTURE
In time transfer to airport for onward journey.
